After Draco is questioned by the Ministry in regards to Wayne, Natalie escorts him out, but not before they run into Harry. Harry and Natalie discuss the murders and who they think is behind them.
Justin tells Harry about Ernie and asks him to tell Hestia.
Justin goes to tell Hannah the terrible news about their friend.
Harry brings his suspicions about Megan to Kingsley with Natalie in tow.
Harry drops by Zabini Manor to check on Hannah. He finds an antsy Justin and a drugged Hannah. Then he finds ferrets and Yanks when Draco shows up.
Owls
Molly owls Ginny, hoping that her daughter isn’t too upset with her. (She’s not! ::haggles Molly) and has some kind words to say about Draco.
Hermione owls Ginny for an explanation of the tension at the Weasley New Year’s dinner. They make plans for lunch next week to discuss things.
Pansy owls Cormac, letting him know she’s up to give him a ‘break’ if he gets too over-worked…

Harry is distracted when he finally sees Simone. She gives him something better to be distracted by. The end is nigh, I fear. (BFE mutters something under her breath about wankers... and glares at Simone for blaming Tracey for the ostentatious house.)

Pansy owled Tracey and Draco wishing them Happy New Year and rebuking them both about lunches. (Tsk Tsk - Draco, you didn't even reply when she said she was ill... :p)

Oliver has a drink and a visit with Alicia's gravestone.
Pansy tries to meet Tracey at Gulliver's and gets stood up. Luckily, Oliver Wood joins her to keep her from getting too lonely.
Gregory drops by to visit Pansy. He gives her a LOT of information in true Slytherin style, and convinces her to be wary of Vincent. (She thought he was dead. Go figure.)
Ginny and Hermione meet for lunch and discuss their prospective lives. Hermione's thinking of gorgeous Italian men, and Ginny's tastes are much more close to home.
Maria considers her victory as one large leap for the Liberi. Whom she leads… you know… because she’s the Glorious Mother… and now she’s the Minister… pretty big news…
Ginny and Dean have their semi-annual/monthly/weekly movie night. The movie isn't really watched, instead worries and hopes are shared. It's just another night with the Thomas-Weasley duo!
Romilda looks for the right kind of company. Oliver looks for a pleasant end to a long day. They're both satisfied. (NC-17)

Simone owls Tracey for a lunch date. There’s no response.
Draco owls Pansy to warn her about Vincent, not knowing Greg got there first. He also tells Gregory that Vincent stops by Healing Hands, suggesting he warn Tracey.

Joscelin spends his last evening in Britain spending some quality time with his sister, Gwen. He has some serious thoughts about her and an idea he's been mulling over for a long time - finally coming home, for good.

Cormac arrives at Parkinson Manor to whisk Pansy away, but first he balks at her choice of reading material.
Jared isn’t happy to find someone in his bed the morning after, and neither is his father, who has something to show him.
Hannah finds out why her cat is so keen on tearing up her boyfriend's clothing, and Draco give a Hufflepuff a bit of advice.
Hannah tries to take a certain person's advice about Blaise only to discover he has his own plans for her and will not be rushed.
Michael brings Susan to Paris and his plans turn out better than he’d dreamed.
Owls
Narcissa owls the boys their Christmas gifts. Stupid owls from Switzerland getting lost. Blaise receives a 10,000 galleons gift certificate, and so does Draco. Including with Draco’s money, however, is a black family photo album and a necklace.
Harry owls Justin and Hannah, letting them know that Megan is behind bars. And chains. And hopefully a very tight binding spell. Can’t be too careful with the crazies…

Regan writes back to Tristan, letting him know that she’s danced and played Cello, when not listening to Lisette recount her rather jaw-dropping stories.

Jared does a little family business and makes an offer an old man couldn't refuse.

Harry wrestles confessions and real emotion from Megan while Hestia observes.
Just after getting back to the Romanian reserve, Joscelin finds a post dated owl from Charlie Weasley inviting him to come back to Britain to work on the Welsh reserve. Joscelin takes this as a sign and has decided to come home.
Tracey is starting to get better when she bumps into a ghost -Vinnie- on the grounds. They chat and have tea - and there is hugging. Good thing she can't read minds, eh?
Greg reacts to Tracey's owl. There are secrets shared, warnings and gifts given.
Ginny apparently didn't understand one of Blaise's Christmas gifts, and he's all too happy to explain how it works.

Harry breaks up with Simone with, quite possibly, the worst timing ever.
Harry goes on a bender and runs into a few people. He's had a bad week. Unfortunately, some of those people were Draco Malfoy. A shirtless Draco Malfoy. After Ginny tries to help him, he runs to Mac for alcohol. She helps him, but not in the way expected.
Simone goes the Hogs Head and ends up getting to know Jared better. (NC-17)
After being interrupted, Draco and Ginny have another Occlumency lesson.
Owls
Joscelin owls Charlie, making sure that spot at the reserve is still available.
Tracey’s giving her owl some exercise. First up is an owl to Pansy with some belated birthday gifts. (A book, a scarf, an antique hair comb and some never-chipping nail varnish.)
Her second owls are to Draco, Hannah, and Blaise, thanking them for her birthday gifts. She also asks Draco for some honest advice about the Vincent situation.
Third owl goes to Daphne, thanking her for her birthday gift and one-upping her with a lacy little number of her own.
Finally, an owl to Ginny, asking if the Healer can suggest any therapists.
Vincent sends a rather polite (and creepy, apparently) owl to Tracey, sending along some black calla lilies as well.

Draco nearly blows himself up when messing with the bloody bit of carpet. Luckily for him, he has a healer on call.
Gwen meets Narcissa at her exclusive birthday gala. Blaise and Draco make the party a bit more explosive.
Neville comes home to find Mac waiting for him. Neville makes them dinner, and they talk.

Plans are changed for Regan's weekend visit with Tristan.
Draco stops by the Park to check on Tracey's wards and put a few tricks up her sleeves in the event that certain guests pop by again.
Justin visits his mum.
Hannah stops by with pie to see Harry, and Tindy meets Dobby. Little baby house-elves! Squee!
Natalie gets her head checked out by Neville, and while she's fine physically, mentally it might be another story.
Pansy, Cormac, Michael and Susan enjoy an evening at Parkinson Manor. Well, maybe enjoy is a strong word. Pansy doesn't like Susan for Michael, Susan is unnerved by Pansy, and Michael tells Cormac about Susan's attack.

Justin plans on owling Harry about Crabbe attacking Susan, but his plans are derailed by an accident in the time turner research lab in the Department of Mysteries.
Narcissa visits Maria in her new office and the two chat about new assistants, death threats, and the holidays.
Greg reacts to Vincent's owl. He's hoping it's a prank or he's having a nightmares or something.
Cormac seeks out Pansy and finds Greg looking for her as well. In light of an obvious abduction, the Auror on call (Harry) shows up to investigate.
Mac and Dean finally get around to doing her portrait sitting for a certain healer's prezzie.
Gotta love that interdepartmental cooperation. Justin stops by to tell Harry about Crabbe attacking Susan only to find out about Pansy being taken.

Tuesday 1/22
Scenes
Harry and Natalie have a little auror-to-trainee chat.
Cormac seeks out Harry for information--he comes up empty-handed.
Daphne offers Susan an extra line of defense, and lunch plans are made for sharing stories of men and knickers.
Greg, Blaise, and Draco head to the Ministry to talk about finding Pansy with the Auror on the case - Harry. He and Natalie get some more information that might prove helpful, but tempers are running a bit high.
Tracey finally opens her mail. Good thing she got the news about Vinnie before asking him to lunch.
Gwen goes to Paris, broom shopping. She doesn't find what she's looking for, but does learn of a designer that may be able to help her, one Tristan Bole.
Following his disastrous visit to the ministry, Greg calms down at Whittom Park with Tracey. Things aren't all that calm but they work things out... sorta.
Draco and Natalie have a race to see who can tell Dean about Pans first. Draco wins, but Neville answers the door. Natalie also finally tells Dean about her nightmares.
Draco goes to tell Narcissa about Pansy. He learns a few things about what Vincent is and who else is plotting against the werewolf.
Because she hasn't been taking her potions, Pansy's nightmares are back. She ponders her fate, and wonders if anyone has noticed that she's gone.
Jared and Romilda have drinks for their monthly meeting at the Leaky. Information is shared.
Draco's last stop for the night... Ginny.
After a sleepless night and day, Cormac visits Katie for some kind of peace in the storm.
Hannah has a nightmare then panics at the empty bed. Blaise tells her of Pansy and finds a small bit of comfort.

Daphne owls Tracey to warn that Vincent is back and to send her a befuddlement potion.

Michael was having such a good day, until he sees Cormac and gets on the bad news train.
Michael and Cormac seek Snape's help. Cormac gets a lot to think about and Michael gets insulted.
Justin and Susan chat over lunch. He hopes she's being treated right, and she hopes he comes out of his shell enough to have a life and not just watch everyone else's.
Justin and Lavender run into one another again. It's not any less stilted or awkward.
Susan ponders Pansy's situation, and does what she can to thank her unseen guardian.

Kingsley owls Draco via the Ministry. They want to meet with them. He agrees.
Elle Ashe, Liberi contact, owls Cormac, informing him of a request. He agrees.

Thursday 1/24
Scenes
Maria interviews Hestia and Kingsley for the Head of the MLE position she left open by moving up.
Lavender goes out for an interview she really doesn't want to conduct. Luckily, the interviewee, Mr. Oliver Wood, isn't so hard on the eyes. Or the ears.
Susan surprises Michael at work and their relationship gains a bit of definition.
After giving his account on Crabbe, Draco is escorted out of the Ministry by Hestia. They chat about someone she knew that Draco did not.
Harry and Susan talk about Crabbe, as Harry is desperate for any information that may help. Susan is very helpful, and they swear that the next time they see each other will be on their OWN terms.
Owls
Susan owls Cormac as a concerned friend. Offers of food and potions to help the poor man sleep are given.
Natalie commissions a congratulations cake for who she believes the next Head of the MLE will be. Hannah is more than happy to oblige.
Oliver owls Romy with a booty call ticket to his game in Greece… and directions to his villa.
Tracey owls Harry, wondering if her letters from Vincent will be of any help in the investigation.

Friday 1/25
Scenes
Cormac delivers the news to Harry.
Tristan observes the Harpies practicing in order to begin forming ideas on the broom Gwen's commissioning from him. He also shows interest in working with Katie, never having had the opportunity to have such a small flier use one of his designs. Gwen flies a few brooms he brought along and business is begun - properly and completely thorough.
Harry's not too happy with his new position just yet. Hestia and Natalie offer some sort of congratulations. With cake!
HOLY HOPPING HIPPOGRYFFS! Draco and Vincent run into one another. Mac and Brody try to help the ferreted one hold the werewolfed one indoors until the MLE gets there. Doesn't go so well for them. Ginny is called in for healing and gets told something special. Harry and Natalie arrive with the Aurors and try to contain the scene. (Mallory’s favorite scene ever!!!!!)
Simone rushes home to read the letter given to her by her deceased bio-father.
Greg tells River about Vincent taking Pansy, then Tracey and Greg both come back from their extended vacations in Egypt. (Denial- get it?)
Susan brings Cormac a little comfort.
Oliver drops by for a midnight visit to Katie's for a long overdue snuggle.
Owls
Cormac owls Mandy about Harry’s promotion.
Mandy owls Oliver wanting to know if he is interested in her still. She sends him a gift (hey, it’s no fabric softener teddy bear, but I am sure it will get the snuggles done).
Mac owls Neville to let him know she got in a fight, but she is alright.
Harry owls Cormac about the fight at the Sticks and lets him know Pansy is still alive.
Journals
Mandy writes about her owl to Oliver, work(with Lavender and dear Ticky) and no longer being needy. She is an “intelligent, self sufficient, sexy woman.” (Very Bridget Jones. You go Mandy!)
Cormac journals about Pansy, Vincent, Snape and Harry. Gotta feel bad for the poor guy. He is pretty much wrecked over Pansy’s abduction.
Simone makes a list of the good and bad things in her life. She isn’t really sure where Jared fits in.
Government
The Ministry of Magic announces Harry Potter as the new head of the MLE. (Hrm. That Maria is a crafty one.)

In this adventure Tonks and Romilda, hence forth known as the great TOMY, file, get time off from work, and get sweaty. Not like that.

Arthur owled Harry in congratulations over his new position.
Draco owled Blaise about the confrontation with Vinnie the day before.

The Ministry puts out a pamphlet on the dangerous werewolf wanted criminal, Vincent Crabbe.

Lavender interviews Gwen. Gryffindor crass humor and Slytherin word play come out for the day.
Pansy makes Vincent angry. He's not getting what he wants from her. Well, maybe we ought not kidnap girls, Vin. HARD R
Luna finds out who gave her her holiday sparklies. Someone has a boy who lived living a little for her.
Michael burns dinner and then Susan tries to set him afire.

Michael is back from Belgium. He owls Susan about a dinner date. With candies! Michael wins at life today.
Draco owls Narcissa and Greg about his run-in this past weekend.
Journals
Gwen journals about being a female Quidditch player, being a female Slytherin player (a rarity), brooms, and Tristan Bole. The last utterly distracts her from any other journaling she might have done.
Romilda journals about meeting with Jared, training with Tonks, Greece with a side of Oliver, and who Cormac' special lady friend is and what she should do or say about the werewolf situation.

Harry drops by the Sticks to check on Mac. They talk about what she's going to do with herself, and she thinks about what she's going to do with Harry. (Not like that! Pervs!)
Simone receives an owl from her bio-mother and is coerced into consenting to a lunch meeting.
Draco looks in on the still-sick Blaise. They have a lovely chat about werewolves and commitment, mutually exclusive of course.
Romy goes to Cormac for answers and doesn't like what she hears. Cormac tries to do the right thing and gets chewed out for his trouble.
Owls
Luna sends Harry a very nice stag statue. A lot of not asking goes on.
Gwen owls Joscelin to tell him to let her know he’s alive. – It’s going to be interesting when she finds out what he’s been up to.
Dean owls Draco about the fight at the ‘Sticks and the two plan on sparring soon.

Luna journals about her confusion. Why on earth did Harry buy her that necklace?

Draco visits Narcissa. They chat about Crabbe, Blaise being sick, quidditch, and brooms, and then Narcissa finally meets Py.
Lavender tries not to be nosy. It doesn't work. She also learns that uttering the word 'leaves' in Justin's presence is not advised. Especially if he'd just consumed them.
Owls
Draco owls Ginny, wondering if she could check up on Blaise, as he’s being a sick little Slytherin. They dance around the subject of those words he spoke…

Thursday 1/31
Scenes
Terence has a bad conversation, a good meal, and, we come to find, a fondness for shoes.
Tonks congratulates Harry on his appointment, complains, and suggests a Quidditch Game with the Weasleys.
Anthony is brought up to be interrogated, but sees someone on the way. As he his questioned, Justin and Hestia observe and offers are made.
Gwen is invited to Malfoy Manor for tea. She and Narcissa talk of quidditch and nasty beasts and the proper fear that should be instilled by calling on a Slytherin mother.
Romy and Oliver have a quasi-serious talk. Thankfully, it lasts less than ten sentences and ends in an afternoon delight. (NC-17!)
Ginny comes to check on Blaise and meets Draco's mom. Duh nuh nuh!
Owls
Tristan owls Gwen to meet on Sunday. They decide on a place called “Victoria’s” in Cornwall, and Tristan plans on bringing Regan.
Michael owls Susan, wondering if she’d be up for dinner with his parents. Also, he informs her that Justin stopped by….
Susan owls Justin, letting him know that her threat about a blind date turns out not to actually be a threat…
