Scenes
Greg has his first therapy session. It's not as bad as it could have been.
Tracey and River meet up to do some last minute overseeing at the Ministry Atrium.
Angelina communicates to Snape that employees are supposed to get time off.
Harry wakes Simone up from a bad dream and she realizes she is late to meet Tracey.
Harry and Simone meet at the ball.
Cormac and Pansy attend the Ball- by way of Cormac's office. (NC17)
Greg escorts River to the ball. Explanations and plotting ensue.
Tracey and Theo are late for the ball... but they had a really good excuse.
Harry and Natalie share a dance and a chat at the Ministry's affair.
Harry has impure thoughts. Luna is clueless.
Mandy interviews Maria and then interviews her again, off the record
Simone dances with Victor (and the BFE fangirly squees)
Pansy and Cormac meet each other's friends. Gregory still hates Cormac, and we're pretty sure that Mandy doesn't care for Pansy, either.
Greg dances with River and Tracey while Theo looks on, silently, just the way Greg likes him.
Anthony and Megan arrive at the Ministry affair and have one hell of a night. It ends with a bit of a bang. (NC17)
The Scene wherein Pansy is generous on more than one score, and Tracey and Cormac find out they have a shared secret.
It takes the very hot Victor Keller to finally guilt Theo into dancing with Tracey while Simone bemoans the stupidity of those of the male persuasion. (*BFE glares at Potter*)
Stacey (An assistant) finds something alarming in the Minister's office, tells Maria and Simone makes an announcement to the attendants.
Lockdown at the Ministry affair. Harry and Natalie are two of the bodies sent to man the exits. Harry then is assigned questioning duty. Yay!
Maria and the other Heads examine Scrimgeour.
Angelina is questioned about her whereabouts during the time of the murder.
Maria questions Hestia Jones and discovers her wand last produced an Avada.
Harry finally gets to leave the Ministry after checking in with Simone.
Maria and the other Heads deal with the aftermath of the murder and elect an interim Minister. Wish Maria luck.
After returning from the Ministry, Cormac, on assignment from the Liberi, was asked to leak Scrimegour's death to the press.

Pansy owled Michael wondering if he will ever forgive her little prank. There are some threats mentioned...subtly.

Severus learns that there are actually things worse than the Cruciatus, and talking to Molly Weasley about hot flashes is one of them.Snape makes a hasty hiring decision, and Susan is abruptly employed.
Pansy crashes Snape's lunch, and disagrees with his definition of gentle kindness.
Dean moves in with Nev, and a little manly gossip is exchanged.
Natalie's feeling melancholy about the chain of events at the Ministry's event, so she goes Dean hunting for cheer. She runs across Ginny and Neville before actually finding Dean.

Pansy journals about the previous nights activities at the Ministry Ball. Apparently they still haven’t gotten over her little stint as a Jr. Death Eater. (Wankers.) Also of note? Cormac McLaggen is cute when he sleeps.
Simone journals about the death of the Minister and what she could and could not do for the cause.

The Ministry issues an official proclamation about the death of the Minister. In lieu of elections, Maria has been named temporary Minister of Magic. Official elections will occur January 7th, 2003.

Hannah visits Blaise on her day off. He asks her to move in with him.
Hannah tells Harry she's moving out. There's A LOT if miscommunication and angst going on until the both of them stop feeling sorry for themselves and start paying a bit more attention.
Greg stops by the Shed to visit Katie. Fred shows up and they all finally find themselves in the same room alone. It doesn't quite go how they thought...

Mandy is excited (if not a little frostbitten) after her meeting with Oliver in the locker room showers. There’s also news about her ex-husband. I wonder if his new wife and him have a house with a hill with one tree on it?
Greg is very frustrated with the fact that his budding relationship with Fred and Katie doesn't seem to be working out.

Fred wakes Katie up on her birthday. He gives her pretties, and they make a date for Friday.
River stops by the Ministry to get the information needed on Greg’s school.
Greg and River have an unconvential business meeting. Complete with water fights and house-elf scoldings.
Hannah runs into Susan when she goes into Snape’s for a potion. The ex professor and his former student have an interesting discussion about opinions.
Pansy goes looking for Cormac only to find him not in his office. She gets the super dooper 411 from Hildi though. Poor girl. She didn’t stand a chance.
Harry notices Natalie has been in a bit of a funk lately. He takes her for a run and a bit of a chat. Poor boy needs to hang out with his male friends more as he is once again unwillingly pulled into girl talk... after their discussion on goings on in the Ministry.
OMG! Susan trims the hedges for Snape, then it’s on like Donkey Kong. Complete with Death Eater Potion Monkey references! But did he just order her to move in with him? Sort of? Snape! You dirty, dirty monkey!
Luna’s on a fact-finding mission with Ginny as her source. She might have misunderstood a few things though.
Katie comes to celebrate Angelina's new success. Things don’t go as planned though when Angelina lets it be known she’s not exactly thrilled about Fred and Katie.
Simone and Tracey have a bit of girl talk invloving house-buying, Harry Potter, and Simone’s adopted parents.

Tonks sends Katie a birthday owl with prezzies.
Greg owls Blaise and Draco wanting to meet up with both of them soon.

Wayne's body is discovered in Hogsmeade. Harry and Natalie are first on the scene, but not before Hannah sees the body. She's left in the care of Mac while the Aurors start trying to contain the area.
Harry and Natalie are on a Malfoy hunt. Harry is intent on arresting Draco for the murder of Wayne Hopkins, but Ginny provides the ferret with an alibi. Harry KNOWS. OH NOES!
Mac brings Hannah to Blaise. Things are tense… and not just because Mac's in Blaise's house. Hannah had certain ideas of what she wanted her comfort to be like.
Natalie house-elf meddles, so Dean comes by. There's some making out, a date is planned, and future make out sessions are planning for NOT being at the McDonald house.
Cormac and Pansy get sloshed and spill a lot of information that would be much more useful if they actually remembered it the next morning.

Cormac offers himself to Maria. Not that way, perverts. He also does a little tit for tatting on behalf of Megan… not like THAT! Dang!
Things are tense between Natalie and Harry. Especially after he tries to fire himself from the job of being her mentor.
Cormac saves Susan from dining alone, misunderstands the living situation at the shop, nearly chokes numerous times, and is dangerously close to nominating “Hufflesue” for a Pansy-sized a hexing by when the Slytherin observes the unlikely lunch duo.
Ginny tries to avoid Luna and is unsuccessful. They talk of movie nights and holiday prezzies. Won’t Ginny be surprised at her new duvet with little white ferrets on it… just kidding.
Hannah and Draco commiserate a bit. She tells him about seeing the body, and he tells her being suspected of putting it there.

Severus explains the dosage for the dream management potion. Pansy eagerly anticipates the side effects.
Vincent returns from his adventures away. Not a good thing for the random woman in Nem’s Nook. Hestia has a visit from Harry.

River comes to pick up Simon and presents are exchanged. It ends worse than it started.
Tracey and Theo help add to the statistic that there is more domestic discord at the holidays.
A Happy Christmas at the Parkinson Estate.
Tracey receives some devastating news… made worse because of the horrible things she'd said before he left.
Gwen mixes family and social obligations on Christmas Eve. She hears the barest of rumors about a new faction connected to the peacock feather above Hogsmeade on Halloween.
Vincent feels left out in the cold (literally) while the rest of his former friends celebrate together. (NC-17!!)
After Pansy feels some of the nastier effects of Snape's potion, she and Cormac exchange Christmas gifts. Of all his gifts, Cormac likes unwrapping Pansy best of all.
Fred and Katie exchange gifts and share one with each other. (NC-17!!)

Dean owls Pansy a gift of portrait-proportions. It’s amazing and leaves her speechless, which may be a first.

Tracey is distraught and Greg has to comfort her.
Luna spends Christmas with her father and receives a present from Father Christmas.
Fred and Ginny keep up the tradition of opening gifts together, and Ginny decides enough is enough.
It's Christmas at the Zabini home starring Blaise, Hannah, Draco, and Tonks. With special appearances by Py the ferret and Soot the kitten.
Once again, Tracey is comforted by her big brother… and they finally get their Christmas gifts.
Susan shares some Christmas spirit with Severus, whether he wants it or not. There is surprisingly edible food, a good gift, and the unhappy realization that he ought to reciprocate. Oh, there's also a kiss.
Ginny attacks Harry and demands he stops being a prat. While Harry can't promise this, he does say he'll try not to kill Draco on principle.
Tristan spends some quality time with his little sister while she's home for Christmas.

Dean owls Ginny with some advice.
Fred owls Arthur, Molly, Angelina, and Oliver their presents.

Susan wishes all her friends would be together more often, since she spent the holidays with her parents and the parents of Zacharias Smith, who died in the war. She’d also quite surprised Snape actually enjoyed her gifts.

Tracey takes Blaise up on his offer of a smother-free environment. He invites Pansy over and they all forget for a while.

Simone owls Harry to let him know what’s happened and that she’ll be unavailable for a bit while helping Tracey deal.
Greg owls Blaise, Hannah, Draco, River and Pansy, letting them know about Theo’s death. He’s hoping the calvary comes.
Charlie owls Molly and Arthur, assuring them he will be making an appearance at the New Years dinner!
Blaise owls Tracey, letting her know he’s available should she need him. He also owls Pansy, telling her he might need her help to keep his tongue in check when or if Tracey comes calling.
