Our Game Canon, here at Caliga_Ortus, does not incorporate all canon from Deathly Hallows, though several key events have been used.

Here's a handy list of canon that WILL be used in Caliga_Ortus!

Year: 2004 (6 years after DH)
Minister of Magic: Maria LeGrot
Headmistress of Hogwarts: McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress: Professor Sprout
OotP Head: No Head Currently (Though Mad-Eye Moody has been coordinating the meetings since they were called to order again)

June 1997 - Albus Dumbledore dies, HBP ends
July 31 1997 - Harry leaves Dursleys; he, Ron and Hermione go horcrux hunting
September 1997 - Rubeus Hagrid dies
1997-1998 - Horcruxes found and destroyed.
April 1998 - final battle
September 1, 1998 – Harry, Hermione and Ron return to Hogwarts, graduating with Ginny and Luna in 1999.

Harry defeated Voldemort. Harry, Ron & Hermione were gone for the last year of classes to find the horcruxes (during 1998). Voldemort fell at the end of 1998. They tested out of their final year in 1999. (Ginny and Luna did as well, since they didn't leave school.)

George Weasley died in battle. Percy Weasley was kidnapped near the end of the war by desperate Death Eaters, who hoped that he could provide some information about the Order.

Many of the Death Eaters, after spending time in Azkaban, are now free, either because they claimed they were under Imperio or because they supplied evidence against their compatriots. Snape, after his arrest, was exonerated by Harry Potter, who revealed that Snape had been an Order spy the entire time, and that a pensieve containing both Dumbledore's and Snape's memories proved that Snape was under Dumbledore's orders to kill him.

With the Dark Lord gone, a new group has started to corner the market on fear. Known as the Liberi, they have their sights set on the control of the Wizarding World...
