Name: Nymphadora Alise Tonks
Age and date of birth: June 21, 1973, age 29
Physical description: Middle height, athletic, eye and hair color change depending on mood and need, but are naturally blue and black, respectively. She generally tends to have paler skin, with freckles. She has various scars on her body from the war, but the largest is on her left shoulder blade. She also has 3 tiny stars in black tattooed on her right hip- one for Sirius, and one each for her parents.

Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): She fought with the Order, but will always do what she thinks is right, regardless of what side it is on.
How do people perceive this character: People generally see Tonks as a bit inept because she is clumsy. She does things impulsively, and people are always intrigued by her constantly changing appearance. She has a bit of fame because of her rather public relationship with Remus Lupin and her role in the Order, and it drives her batty.
Greatest fear: Never having any family.
Greatest passion: Reading trashy dime store novels and good food. Decent food. Food you can cut the mold off of and still eat.
Aspiration: To do what's right in the world, and to walk in heels.
Greatest Positive Attribute: She hates to lie, and is loyal to those she loves and what she thinks is right.
Biggest Fault: Her temper: its short and loud, and she's rather forgetful. Not to mention dead clumsy.
Happiest Memory: The summer she was 17 - pure freedom. A beach and little drinks with umbrellas may or may not have been involved.
Most painful Memory: Finding her dead parents at the family home.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):
Tonks went to Hogwarts and graduated at the top of her class, but was never a prefect because of her penchant for mischief and a quick temper. She was one of the only women to make it through the Auror program, although she almost failed Stealth and Tracking. She fought in the war with the Order of the Phoenix, and was seriously injured by a hex in the final battle. She still has trouble with that shoulder. She and Remus Lupin continued to date during the war, but she ended the relationship about a year ago when he refused to commit to anything more serious.
