Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): Theodore Nott.
How do people perceive this character: Theodore is a loner. He appears abrasive to those who do not know him - which is just about everyone.
Greatest fear: He fears dying unremembered, but he has an even greater fear of being remembered as someone evil, someone cut of the same cloth as his father. 
Greatest passion: His work in potions and charms.
Aspiration: To becoming a prolific wizard in the field of charms.
Greatest Positive Attribute: His intelligence.
Biggest Fault: His lack of person connections and trust in other people.
Happiest Memory: Being with Tracey before things went horribly wrong.
Most painful Memory: Waking up to a whole new world. He'd been held captive. Then he comes home to find he'd been declared dead, his job has gone to someone else, and his girlfriend is another man's wife.
Does your character value the purity of blood: Yes. It was ingrained into him from birth. Theo tries to recall that he makes his own decisions, judges people on who they are not who they were born to, but sometimes knowing a person's blood status taints his judgment.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):

Being an only child, Theodore was to be the heir of his family's estate. When he entered Hogwarts, he felt no need to join gangs, including Malfoy's, and was content to be the clever loner of Slytherin. His father was not pleased with this choice. He felt Malfoy and his cronies could have helped Theo be more accepted, but Theo was not interested in the acceptance of his peers. He was not close to anyone in school. When his father was apprehended by the Ministry, Theo drew in on himself even more. During his fifth year, he received a letter from his mother, finding out his father was sentenced to Azkaban. He wanted to come home then, but his mother refused this request. Theo felt abandoned and decided the only person he could depend upon was himself. During his career advice meeting with Snape during fifth year he was urged to try to work with charms and how they relate to medicine. Theodore had a knack for charms and the marks to prove it. Snape wrote him a letter of recommendation to St. Mungo's Potions Department. Shortly after he graduated from Hogwarts, he went through the training program at St. Mungo's. He was only learning the healing part of the program to help with the research portion. It came easily to him though, and he immediately got a job as a treating Mediwizard upon completing the program. He hated it, not liking people, and as quickly as possible got himself transferred to the research department of the hospital. Less patients there. Less people in general.

In 2001, he found out that his father had been killed in Azkaban during a prison riot.  

The only bright spot was when he tried to let his guard down for Tracey, but that proved difficult, as she did not seem to understand why he did not have any desire to hang around his former classmates. Her irritation and lack of understanding on this matter only proved to him that Theo was the only person Theo could depend upon. He should never have let his guard down. In December of 2002, after a bitter fight with Tracey, he was celebrating the hols with the Li family and some muggle friends when he was mistaken for a muggle himself and taken hostage by a group who sold him into slavery. Theo didn't even know that sort of crap really happened. His enslavers realized their mistake almost immediately, but tried to cover it up - even going so far as to use the Imperius on the Li family getting them to report his death. They destroyed his wand. He had been in some sort of work camp ever since, his days running together. It was only through a government raid that he was recently discovered.

Now it's June of 2003. Seven months have gone by. His job is no longer there - the department was cut back so there's no room for him now. His girlfriend is in jail in the States and married to someone he despised. Theo's officially dead and can't get himself declared living again. 

Profession: He used to work as a Mediwizard with a specialty in charms at St. Mungo's in the research department, but since his "death" the position has been filled. He is currently working in the emergency department at Mungo's, but it quickly becoming angry at the institution.
