Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive): Sorted into Gryffindor in the 70s, Sirius was the heir to the "Noble and Most Ancient House of Black".  Unfortunately, he was never quite able to be what his family required of him.  Rejecting the family's views on blood supremacy, he ran away to live with James Potter and his family when he was sixteen, and was disowned shortly thereafter.  The years that followed were the happiest of his life - surrounded by a family of his own choosing - until it all came crashing down around him.  The Potters' deaths and Peter's betrayal nearly broke him, and his incarceration very nearly finished the job.  Following his escape from Azkaban, he served with the Order of the Phoenix, partially to defeat Voldemort, but mainly to protect his godson.  During a skirmish in the Ministry's Department of Mysteries, he was flung through the so-called Veil of Death, never to be seen again... until now.

Profession: Man Of Leisure.

Sirius' visual representation is Johnny Depp.
