Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):

Cho is the daughter of a Chinese businessman. Her mother died giving birth to her and her father remarried quickly, needing a new wife to care for her and her older brother. Her stepmother wasn’t interested in taking care of another woman’s children, and while she wasn’t mean or cruel, she tended to forget about them entirely when they weren’t directly in front of her. Her spinster aunt and her grandmother made up for it by spending extra time with her.

Being sorted into Hogwarts was exciting for her, it was something new and she loved it. It was fairly uneventful, though, until she met him. It was her fifth year, and the Triwizard Tournament was being held. She was invited by Cedric Diggory to the ball and soon they were dating. He was the kind of boyfriend that every girl dreams about; he was kind and sensitive and handsome. When he died, Cho was devastated. The remainder of the school year passed quickly, and even now remains a blur.

In her sixth year she joined Dumbledore’s Army with her best friend Marietta . She also started dating Harry Potter. It ended quickly (with some humiliation on her part. Crying and kissing at the same time isn’t particularly attractive). She left D.A. suddenly when Marietta informed on them. She didn’t like the method of punishment. Disfiguring someone was a little too radical for her tastes.

After school she went to live in China with her family and to recuperate from all of the death she'd witnessed. While there, her relationship with her stepmother and her brother improved drastically, and it was through her brother that she met his business partner, Jack Harley. The two became good friends, and eventually lovers. The relationship continued until he moved back to his native England, and Cho was picked up by a Japanese Quidditch team. She played for the Toyohashi Tengu for only a few months before being traded to the Tutshill Tornados. She was excited about it, not only because she'd been a fan since childhood, but because it also gave her the opportunity she was looking for to reunite with Jack.

She moved in with him on her return to England, and even though they've been peacefully living together since then, she is ready to take things to the next level.

Profession: Seeker for the Tutshill Tornados

Cho's visual representation is Gemma Chan.
